On a very windy journey, we drove quickly past the highrise jungles that are Benidorm & Alicante.
We were making for Murcia and an Ikea car park. They have very kindly put in lots of parking at the huge shopping complex for motorhomes.
We’d forgotten quite how busy an Ikea can get… and we arrived on a Saturday afternoon 🙄 we squeezed our way around the store attempting to look at handy storage solutions for van life… but ended up running away, we could go in another day!
High disappointment when we found that over in Spain a Chinese supermarket doesn’t mean lots of exiting food, but household goods and decorations.
It was good to see all the other vans in the car park community, and we met several peole including another UK self builder, who won best van of the day because he gave us tea and chocolate cake ☕🍰and to top it off he is a David too 😁
