Really we’ve just been adding a vapour barrier.
Once our insulation went in, we thought that adding a vapour barrier would be a good plan, to avoid moisture getting in and making it all damp and soggy – which could then lead to rust on the van.
For our vapour barrier we used Thermawrap – it’s really just a bubble wrap with foil on both sides.
Before sticking the barrier, we made sure that each stick pin and joint of the insulation was covered with foil tape.
We then used spray adhesive to attach the barrier to the insulation and then foil taped any edges again.
We’re now ready for space…oh no, the next part of the build… 🚐
