Another nice stop off at the motorhome aire in Yenne. This little town has a old waterway that the town have renovated running through it’s centre. We did a walk up into the hills that overlook the town where there’s a monument the villagers built to bring good fortune to the town after it was destroyed by floods many years ago. At the moment though, the whole region is recovering from the heat over the summer – the signs are still out warning of the danger of fires and there are several areas of land where you can see wildfires have been through, killing all plants and wildlife in its way.
