Peralada is a small village on the way to Girona.
We visited the village on a rainy day, which meant that we almost had the little winding cobbled streets to ourselves.
With a castle, tourist information points around the town, a wine cellar, museums, cloisters and an excellent bakery – Peralada is definitely worth a stopover.
