We stopped for a couple of days in an aire at Mirabel-aux-Baronnies and then at a parking spot between Malaucène and Bedoin.
Being right by Mont Ventoux, we couldn’t miss the chance to cycle up, but had to plan it quite carefully because of the weather, which was a bit up and down – sunny spells accompanied by 84kph gusts of wind – not a safe time to cycle up a mountain!
We got a clear day though and went for it. The views from the top are fantastic.
Treated ourselves to a well-earned galette at the bottom, followed by sitting outside the van watching the sunset.
