We use co-pilot as our sat nav in the van – you can put in your van length and height. Really handy for avoiding bridges and little roads that we could get stuck on.
It’s not always 100% – we did manage to take a tiny single track road over a mountain the other week that had us in a cold sweat until we reached the other side.
For our next stop we decided to do a walk to double check the way as we were going off road. The road started with a narrow tunnel, and then heads up a gorge with a gravel track. The gravel track widens out to a parking place where we were going to spend the night.
Our walk the next day around the gorge took us via an abandoned village, we saw lots of griffin vultures, lizards and a snake 🐍
