We found a large aire in Vassieux en Vercors, and thought we’d just be stopping in a large car park on the outskirts of a little village…instead, we got super lucky.
It’s a lovely little town with lots of information on its history.
But on the night we arrived they were having a celebration night, with jazz, BBQ & wine/beers in the town square in the evening, followed by a seriously impressive firework display, which we got to enjoy with a lovely family from Belgium who were in the motorhome next to us ☄
