Thought we ought to mention the temperatures we’ve just been living in! The hottest day we’ve had has shown 41 on the temperature gauge 😥🌞🔥 We were staying at a France Passion host (French equivalent of BritStops) – this was a vineyard in the Loire Valley – it was meltingly hot, so of course we purchased some bubbly rosé from the vineyard to try and help… The wind when outside felt like it was cooking you, but there was shade at least!
We made use of our shower and put swimmers on to have a shower outside.
For the bunnies – we did all the usual cool down tasks – damp ears, cool mats, frozen bottles to lie next to and we did some hair trimming and putting all their meals in chilled water that they could search through.
Bring on some chilly weather!!
