Well, not until they’re connected, but the solar panels are part of the ship, part of the crew.
We drilled holes through the frame edges to then bolt them to the roof rack.
The panels themselves are quite a size. To get them up 2m70 onto the roof we lifted them from the ground to a work table, then Emma clambered up onto the work table and heaved them up as high as possible for Dave to reach down and haul them up onto the roof.
We can confirm that windy, cold days are not ideal conditions for solar panel install 🌧
