We stopped for a couple of nights at Solignac. The aire is situated at a football ground, and we got lucky with front row tickets for two matches. Solignac is also a handy place to catch the train into Limoges for the day. A wander round looking at the timber frame houses, getting stared at by a local š±, a visit to the museum to see their collection of enamels, all topped off with a delicious lunch in la Petite Graine vegetarian restaurant. Only let down of Limoges was a serious lack of car stickers for the city, so it’s not going to join the rest of the cities and towns on the van showing where we’ve been.
