We arrived in Guadalema de los Quinteros on the eve of the Three Kings arrival. We parked up in a little square at the back of town… unknown to us, this also happened to be where the Three Kings parade was starting. By 4.15pm the van was surrounded by most of the inhabitants of the town eagerly waiting for the parade to start. At 4.30 the King’s decorated floats began their journey and for the next half an hour we watched the frenzy as they threw sweets and toys out at the crowds as they drove round the town.
After that our parking spot quietened down and we just had the local chickens clucking around us for the night 🐓
