We got back to the seaside, arriving in Almunecar. Motorhome parking is at the far end of town by it’s own little beach. From the parking it’s an easy 20 minute walk into town and all the restaurants and shops, but nice to be able to return to the peaceful end of the town for the night.
On our second evening here, we had a knock on the door. It was a cycle tourist who was passing through, and wanted to check out places to camp for the night. We recommended not staying in the grassy area behind us, that had recently had a rock fall, but there looked to be a good spot just along the road. Once she’d settled on her location for the night, we invited her in for a warm drink and snacks and to hear about her travels. Iris has been travelling the world for 3 years, on foot and by bike, it was brilliant to hear all about her adventures 🚴‍♀️
