When we moved on from the olive farm, we decided to spend a bit longer in Béziers at a vineyard just outside town.
The vineyard is next to the 9 locks on the canal, so took this route to walk into town. We thought that each lock would take some time to fill up as they’re quite deep, but the lock masters (?!?) just press the button and almost a tidal wave of water comes down and fills the locks.
A lovely couple from Devon were also parked up at the vineyard, and after some wine tasting, we spent the evening hanging out and chatting about van life.
