Time to leave Lugano and carry on our journey…but we actually needed to plan our journey! Our current plan having got us as far as Lake Lugano.
We headed back towards Lake d’Orta as we’d liked where the motorhome aire was located (apart from the mosquitos!). We stopped for an overnight on the way to d’Orta at a motorhome aire on the outskirts of Varese. We caught a monster of a storm while there, the thunder actually making the van do a mini shake when it was crashing right overhead ⛈🌩🌧
