Once all the walls and raised floor were in, we could fit the frame around the bulkhead to finish it off.
Two sections on each side and a large section over the front which will be left open to access the bulkhead storage.
The original metal bulkhead was held in with bolts, and we’ve left those bolt holes exposed, so that they can be used to hold the plywood frame up.
We’ve used 5mm ply down the sides. Then for the top section we’ve used 9mm ply, this also has a built up section on the bottom so that it connects to the front cab ceiling, rather than leaving a gap.
It’s all been painted white, along with spraying the screws & bolts 🚐
