I may have treated myself!

Wallpaper on kitchen wall

Some time ago I saw a post by @sophierobinsoninteriors showing her kitchen wallpaper. Her Instagram feed is full of bright colour. And I instantly fell in love with this wallpaper – Rabarber paper by @borastapeter
For any home interiors, I like to do a base of white and plain woods and then add colour through textiles and decoration. And it was going to be the same for our new van home.
I wasn’t sure it was going to be easy to get away with such a big pattern in such a small space, but I wanted to give it a try.
I’ve used it as the splashback in the kitchen and couldn’t get enough…so it’s reflected in the toilet on the back wall…and it will go in the back of our cupboards 🙄
I’ve also used @anniesloanhome chalk paint in Aubusson blue for shelf brackets so it blends with the dark background of the wallpaper.
I LOVE IT 😁 (word of warning – do pattern match before you put it up – our roll didn’t match, so we’ve got a millimetre of difference in the joining paper on the wall…had great customer service from @wallpaperdirect to sort it out)
