There are various places on a van that you can install your water tanks, including outside or in.
We decided to have our fresh water tank inside the van and our grey waste water tank outside the van 💧
Hopefully if we’re anywhere super chilly, we can avoid the fresh water freezing if it’s inside the van ❄
We’re not water pro’s, so we booked in for a visit to Barratt Tanks in Ferrybridge.
As we pulled up at Barratt Tanks the van was jacked up and they were already starting the exterior waste tank install. They know what they’re doing!
Barratt Tanks custom build water tanks to fit where you have space for them and our handy pre-planned space for the fresh water tank is on top of one of the wheel arches – it’s all about the planning.
The grey waste tank is held onto the chassis of the van with brackets. The fresh water tank is secured with screws and a strap.
We’ll connect the water up later on in the build 🚿
