Our windows can come with blinds that you attach to the four corners of the window.
In theory these blinds would go over or fit into the wall that you have around your window, creating a neat finish.
Because we’ve done thick wall insulation, the blinds don’t come to the edge of our ply walls.
So, we’ve made window surrounds which fit like a frame over the top of the blinds.
3mm ply painted same shade of white and then fixed with 6 screws.
Each gap between the blind and the window surround is finished with some black draught excluder…we’ll see how long it lasts 🙄
