To neaten up the garage area of the van and to make some extra storage space we’ve added some boxing over each wheel arch.
The boxes are built to fit as snugly as possible to the wheel arches with supporting beams, so that we’ll be able to put things on top of the boxes without them collapsing.
We put vapour barrier over each wheel arch. And lined each box with more vapour barrier. Varnish. Then once each piece of boxing was in place we stuffed some earth wool insulation inside each one before using pocket hole screws to fix them in place.
